Perennial for zones 5 and warmer, but usually grown as an annual.

Snapdragons are a great spike, or line flower, for bouquets but they are also great garden bed plants to attract the bumblebees! Thus blend has 1 inch flowers in shades of red. white, yellow, and pink. They make a statement when planted in mass. Heaviest bloom times are during the cool season, some afternoon shade during the heat of the summer will work best. Flowers are edible and it's deer resistant.

These cold hardy annuals can handle a light frost and can be planted out 2 weeks before last frost. After transplanting into your garden and snaps are established you can pinch your snaps, leaving only about 3 leaves behind. This will delay flowers, but will send out multiple branches for multiple blooms later.  Some growers pinch only some of their plants to get earlier blooms and branching with later blooms on others.

Harvest: For fresh cut flowers, harvest when half the flowers are open on the bottom of the stem.
