Heliopsis Bleeding Hearts

Heliopsis helianthoides var scabra 'Bleeding Hearts'

Also known as False Sunflower or Sunflower Heliopsis. 

Hardy in zones 3-9, this perennial blooms intense orange flowers which mature to golden orange with red centers from July until frost. It's tall bushy habit make it suitable for the middle or back of a flower border.  This plant can also be used as a cut flower. Deadhead to prevent self-seeding and extend flowering time.
